Date: 18-07-23 3-0 is enough for the Harriers at Halesowen

0Halesowen Town FCKidderminster Harriers FC3

The Harriers went into an early lead at Halesowen Town in this latest friendly game. Twenty five seconds was all it took for Amari Morgan-Smith to get onto the end of a deflected shot from trialist A (now almost certain to be Dara Dada-Anité).

AMS went close again soon after when a through ball from Kieran Phillips was latched onto but the Yeltz keeper, Dan Platt, pushed it away to safety. Caleb Richards went on a run that ended with him firing the ball over the bar.

The closest the hosts came to scoring was when the former Harrier, Jack Byrne, pulled his shot across the box.

1st half team: Dibble, Richards, Knight-Percival, Pearce, Preston, Lissimore, Trialist A, Phillips, Morgan-Smith, Byrne, Brown.

An un-changed side came out for the second half of the game and it was AMS again getting the first look at goal with Zak Brown chipping in later.  It was the latter who doubled, then trebled the scoreline by first slotting home from a corner and then five minutes later knocking home the ball that had come back to him off the post.

Gerry McDonagh and Jack Lambert came, we know not who for, with Gerry testing the keeper and Lambert slipping a shot just the wrong side of the post. There was no more action following that and the game ended at 3-0 for the Reds.

Subs: Palmer, Penny, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Maginniss, Downs, Leesley, Lambert*, McDonagh*, Hall, Hemmings, Hewett.

*Came on 2nd half but don’t know who for.
