08-09-20 - News - The fixtures are out at long last

After waiting for what seemed to be an eternity the fixtures for the 2020-21 season have finally arrived.

With the season on hold for so long, at times it seemed we would never get back to playing games, they were released earlier today and out of the hat came Chester FC as our first game. That is due to be played on Tuesday October 6th with our first away game due to be played against Darlington FC on Saturday October 10th at the Northern Echo Arena. That should bring back so memories for Harriers fans.

Arrived here earlier today

I say ‘due’ because we may yet still be subject to a renewal of the lockdown rules.

Christmas will consist of Hereford FC, Telford and Hereford again with us going to the City of Cider on Boxing Day and at home to Telford two days later. Hereford come back to us on January 2nd 2021.

Three notable games will be at York City on March 27th, Gloucester City on January 9th and Boston Utd on February 9th. Three new grounds for us with all those teams moving to their new stadiums soon. Gloucester may be the only one to cut it fine.

Apart from the Christmas/January games the other notable local derbies will be Leamington FC at home on Tuesday November 10th and away on March 13th. Telford away will be on May 1st and Gloucester will be at home two days later on May 3rd.

We had some player news before the fixtures came out too. Omari Sterling-James became our latest signing and more can be found about him here. We should be getting some news about a new keeper too soon.
