A month before signing for the Harriers the Crewe Alexandra midfielder, Fin Roberts, played on loan against us for Chester FC. Although he didn’t score he looked to be a decent player. Soon after he was recalled by Crewe and then out of the blue he signs for us until the end of the season. He’s highly thought of by both Crewe and Chester fans and has come to us looking for the goals to get us back into the National League. His career started with Crystal Palace as a schoolboy before joining Bromley FC but he was soon spotted by a Crewe scout and bought to Gresty Road. He joined Chester on loan, supposedly until the end of the season, but stayed for less than a month. We just have to hope that Crewe don’t do the same to us. |
