Taiwo Atieno was a highly rated forward who came to the Harriers on an initial six month loan from local side Walsall. He previously had loan spells at Rochdale and Chester City where he knocked in a few goals for them. It was hoped that his proposed partnership with Iyseden Christie would have yielded the same results but by the time that his six months were up he had failed to impress the majority of Harriers fans. He started off by scoring twice on the opening day of the season against Woking but only scored three more times after that. A laid back attitude was a major failing of his and he eventually went back to Walsall on New Years Day 2006. He has since played for a variety of clubs in League 2 and the Conference and also tried his luck in the United States. Taiwo is now a commercial director with the EMA Sports Agency | |||
