Scott Phelan was sponsored by Harriers Online from 2011 to 2012 Scott Phelan joined the Harriers from the newly formed FC Halifax after joining them from Bradford City a few years earlier. He started his career with the blue team, Everton, in his hometown of Liverpool. The combative midfielder was a crowd favourite at Halifax but was slow to make an impression at Aggborough. So much so that he was sent out on loan to Vauxhall Motors over Christmas. Finally in February 2012 he was released from his contract and joined Vauxhall but then left them in turn for Altrincham a month later.
