Kidderminster born Paul Davies (nicknamed ‘Ocker’  by the fans) first played for Cardiff City before joining Trowbridge Town.

After leaving Trowbridge he joined Dutch club S.C. Hercules of Enschede and then came to his home town club in 1983 on loan and later for a fee of £1,500.

Paul had a chance to go back into professional football in November 1986 with Wolves, but turned the chance down. Someone called Steve Bull signed for Wolves next day!

‘Ocker’ is the Harriers record goalscorer with 307 goals in 656 games. He left the club in 1999 to join Graham Allner at Worcester City and ended his career at Evesham United.
