Defender Matt Young joined the Harriers in October 2015 following his departure by mutual consent from Dover Athletic in September. In one of his only two games for them he played against the Harriers after coming on as a sub in our 3-2 defeat. He started his career as a schoolboy with Spurs before joining the renowned Southampton Academy in 2012. After two years there he joined the similar scheme at Sheffield Wednesday from where he joined Carlisle Utd on loan in January 2015 for the remainder. He played twenty times for them but on his return to Hillsborough he was released and joined Dover soon after. He arrived at Aggborough on non-contract terms but wasn’t kept on and moved around Southern based clubs afterwards. |
