Following on from the excitement and the short trip to Sporting Khalsa on Saturday the Harriers will face a long trip to either Ware FC or Hemel Hempstead Town in the next round of the FA Cup.
On Saturday we ran out 3-1 winners against Khalsa in what was a very tough game to start with but as the second half progressed we began to show our superiority and also our fitness. The three goals did help in that though. Those goals came from Sam Austin and Nyal Bell who scored twice and also his first goals since signing for us back in July.
Now we have to face either of the aforementioned teams on Saturday 2nd October in the 3rd round.
We have played Ware before back in 2007 also in the FA Cup. We ran out 2-1 winners only to have to travel back across there to Dagenham and Redbridge FC for the next round and go out 3-1.
On Saturday they drew their game at Ware 2-2 and the replay will now be tomorrow evening at Hemels Vauxhall Road stadium.
