Somehow I can't see him banging the goals in at the level Asante did. Although he did get 7 in 38 at FGR.Grumpy old man wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 7:08 pmTevron Campbell on loan at Gloucester as replacement for Asante.

Marvin scored twice last week for Boro; midweek goal, cutting in from the right (Lolleylike), the other from the left, both good shots.

Re: League news/Former Harriers
The Fylde chairman has been on his soapbox again, this time because of the free Saturday yesterday. A selection of comments:
We’ve got 21 from 10, 2.1, if we get 2.1 for the rest of the season we’ll go up as champions
Three teams available to play saturday(yesterday), BPA Gloucester and Kidderminster.
Just played BPA part time. Do they want to play us again so soon, probably not.
The other two sides I’m absolutely amazed at because Kidderminster, they’re second in the league, they’re above us I think on goal difference and we say we’ll go to Kidderminster, we’re not asking them to come up here, we’ll go to them it’s a bit of a trek. Same with Gloucester, our longest game of the season.
Says he’s annoyed about it and has written to the league as he feels it’s “irresponsible” for clubs not to play on a free Saturday.
He then ends with this:
They should be more considerate but they’ve got their reasons but ultimately they don’t want to play us so what does that say about our team?

Hereford also had a free afternoon and I would have liked us to have gone there instead of going on Boxing Day. Still be the same 2000 crowd on either date.
Ulterior motive? Yes I have the chance to go to my daughters on Boxing Day for the first time in years, although she is in tier 3, and it does seem a better time than any.

Makes sense under normal circumstances but more complicated due to covid.
Also, after a couple of average to poor performances, some time on the training ground is desirable.
