I can see players that are already here next season, Richards, Ox, Gold etc all. Being dropped. Play players who have something on the line and give them the chance to prove why they should be here.

Other players I can see being dropped are ones Brown doesn't rate and with more hints he's staying ones he doesn't want here.

I can see the team being quite surprising tomorrow.

Also drop any loan players who have no chance being here next season Bellis, Miller and Weston for example.
Agree with this. Still want to win the game, but ALL players with a question mark regarding their whereabouts next season should play tomorrow.

I would like to see players like Kobe Hall, for example, get a full 90 minutes and see what they can potentially do. This is the perfect game to be giving these players experience.

I went to Barnet in pre-season to see them convincingly beat Palace 1-0 in a friendly.

They looked a cut above and I went away thinking - if they all play like this in the National League then we're doomed!

Turns out they *don't* all play as well as Barnet in the National League, but we were doomed novertheless.

'fraid not Phil. Are you going? Admire your committment if so.

I'll probably watch on the telly to see some of this promising youth.

Not been well this week but improved enough to go. Got our match tickets earlier this evening so going to a new ground, for me, to tick it off. Got our coach tickets after the Chesterfield game in case we missed out.

Think tomorrow is our first meaningless match (friendlies excluded) since the end of the 18-19 season, though I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong
There was that game at the end of 21/22 vs Darlington at home where we had definitely already finished 4th and they couldn't make the playoffs, I guess. But yes, this is literally another level of meaninglessness.

I'm not sure if I missed something (as Trevor Owens didn't question it in the preview interview), but knowing our vlub's not great communications work probably not...

Who is Seb (?) Thompson? When dud we sign him, where does he play? I see he's starting today - trying to work out if he's a defender and what shape we are playing.

Hope the youngsters do well and that we go down with at least a little pride.

He’s a winger ex derby and Macclesfield
Looks a 433 Robinson centre half and he doesn’t look comfortable and was at fault for their chance brilliant save by dibble tho.
Already tearing my hair out on zac brown. Giving the ball away and ending up on the floor when trying to tackle. So poor.
Rubio is meant to be highly rated so keeping a close eye on him: doesn’t look fazed at all

Thanks for the info Tony 👍

I though Rubio was a centre half?! Surely a central defensive two of Preston and Rubio or a three of Preston, Rubio and Ox would be more balanced than trying to ask Robinson (an attacking full back/winger) to play there?! I'm happy with experimenting and giving people minutes, but why play square pegs in round holes?

Rubio is a midfielder I believe he looks to be out on the right hand side. At times it’s looking a 442 with hemmo and Rubio out wide with seb and ams up top.

Ref giving Barnet soft fouls to Barnet when Thompson and Rubio dare to challenge them for the ball.

Two ridiculous decisions. Neither Barnet player interested in playing the ball, then just go over and look at the ref for sympathy.
