I'll be there. Shame it's the last away game that's close to me for the forseeable!
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

Just seen the PB pre-match interview, sounds like the kids are being given a chance to impress. Lambo out with injury.

I got the impression Lissimore is still on loan. We've recalled Hall, Bishop and HewittPIRATE OF ZARAGOZA wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 8:06 pmHall Lissamore, Bishop, Hewitt and RubioSheffield Harrier wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 7:36 pmWhat kids? Re: 20-04-24 Barnet (A)
I think it is prudent to play some of the younger players / fringe players with a view to them being involved in the squad next season. I imagine budget will be cut a bit given I suspect reduced income through gates and tv money plus the outlay on trying to stay up this season.
A lad I work with is a regular at Malvern and said Bishop has done well for them, obvious he’s in loan from a higher level club. Hall I remember hearing rummars of bigger clubs looking at him last season. Lissimore will be a useful squad player for us next season if still about. Be interesting to see how Thompson looks given been at a few big clubs but not worked out.
I do hope though we aren’t relying purely on youth to make up the numbers. We will need some depth and experience. It’s a rough old league as we all know and plenty get found out of they aren’t willing to get stuck in or completely lightweight.

Re: 20-04-24 Barnet (A)
I can see players that are already here next season, Richards, Ox, Gold etc all. Being dropped. Play players who have something on the line and give them the chance to prove why they should be here.
Other players I can see being dropped are ones Brown doesn't rate and with more hints he's staying ones he doesn't want here.
I can see the team being quite surprising tomorrow.
Also drop any loan players who have no chance being here next season Bellis, Miller and Weston for example.

The sceptic in me can’t help seeing a thumping win for Barnet on the cards.

Think tomorrow is our first meaningless match (friendlies excluded) since the end of the 18-19 season, though I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong
