With the end of the season now in sight (just April to go starting tomorrow) we have to accept that we won’t be in the play-off places and, hopefully, not in the relegation places either although that’s getting pretty close. With eighteen points still on offer for most clubs you only have to look at that stunning 3-0 from Blyth Spartans at AFC Fylde on Tuesday to realise that a few more like that, and with our poor form, we could soon get overtaken.<\/p>\n

Farsley Celtic are also down there, just one point above the drop zone, but a win for them tomorrow could lift them up to eighteenth and drop us down to seventeenth. For that reason we have to go there to win but with our feeble strike force, now even feebler, a draw would probably be as good as it gets.<\/p>\n

Last Saturday at home to Alfreton Town we again failed to find the back of the net<\/a> and luckily for us neither did Alfie. Ethan Freemantle (described as a striker) put himself out of action for the remainder of the season due to his own over exuberance going for a ball that he had no chance of reaching. That leaves us with just Amari Morgan-Smith up front with Jack Bearne and Ashley Hemmings supporting him. There’s still no sign of a striker to sit on the bench and it seems there was never any intention to have one anyway.<\/p>\n

In addition to the missing Freemantle we’ll also be without Nathaniel Knight-Percival for his third suspended game. Joe McGlynn is also still missing and still no clarification from the club regards him returning to us any day soon.<\/p>\n

At least we now have Joe Leesley<\/a> back from long term injury and his ten minute cameo at the end of the Alfreton game could mean that he might have the chance of a start.<\/p>\n

Farsley come into the game on a bit of a mini revival with just two defeats in the last ten games. Admittedly most of the eight good results have been draws but for a struggling team that’s good going. Last Saturday they drew at home to Peterborough Sports although it took a last gasp goal from Frank Mulhern to earn the point.<\/p>\n

They could be without Bobby Johnson who picked up an injury in that game.<\/p>\n

Back in October they beat us 2-0 at Aggborough and since then we’ve only won twice at home. Our away form has been better but will it be good enough to win tomorrow?\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
