Edward (Ed) Wagner signed for the Harriers on July 27th 2018 following an extensive trial period with the club.<\/p>\n

The American born defender spent much of his early years in Britain before returning home to go to college where he excelled in sports, particularly football. With that in mind he decided to return to England, once his college years were over, with the aim of following a career in football over here.<\/p>\n

He signed for fellow Conference North side Alfreton Town in February of this year and played seven times for them until his release in May.<\/p>\n

Ed has featured in all of our pre-season friendlies so far and his reward is a short term contract that he’ll be hoping will become longer. In September he was sent to Redditch Utd on loan for a month to get some match practice.<\/p>\n

He left us at the start of January 2109 having never featured for the club and returned to Alfreton a few days later. A few weeks later he had also left there and returned to America.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n
