Tope Obadeyi spent pre-season with the Harriers but once the season started he seemed to disappear. A few weeks later he signed for us on a short term contract until January. Starting with Bolton Wanderers as a youth player he spent most of his career out on loan at various clubs. Bolton released him after four years and he joined the Portuguese side Rio Ave FC for one season. On his return to the UK he signed for Bury but, as before, spent most of his time with them out on loan. His best spell was on signing for Kilmarnock FC where he stayed for two seasons racking up twelve goals in sixty eight appearances before signing for Dundee FC. He then returned to England with Oldham Athletic but after eighteen months he went to France to play for FC Sochaux but on his returned he signed for Oldham again. Following a period out of the game he dropped into non-league football with Gloucester City, Banbury Utd and Hereford FC before eventually signing for the Harriers in August 2024. |
