The Stevenage defender Ryan Johnson came on loan to the Harriers in a deal that involved Emmanuel Sonupè going the other way in a loan/money deal. He started his career with West Bromwich Albion as a boy but before he signed pro terms with them Stevenage came calling and took him on. He has only made nine appearances for his club but has spent time out on loan including a nineteen game spell at Nuneaton Town in the second half of last season. He has been selected for the Northern Ireland U21 side regularly since September 2015. Ryan was on loan with us until January 2019 and on the completion of that he signed on a permanent deal for eighteen months. At the end of the contract he wasn’t offered another and left the club in April 2020. | |||
