Kyle Morrison

The former Leamington FC defender, Kyle Morrison, joined the Harriers on loan from AFC Fylde at the start of February 2023 until the end of the season.

Kyle started his career with Alvechurch before leaving to go to Halesowen Town for three seasons. He returned to Alvechurch in 2018 and became a mainstay of their team until Leamington signed him in July 2020.

A couple of years later and Fylde came calling to sign him for a fee thought to be around the £30,000 mark.

His time at Fylde has been a bit stop/start with a string of injuries meaning that he’s only played twenty games for them in two seasons.

Kyles time with the Harriers was memorable in many ways. Since he arrived here we conceded just twelve goals in his nineteen games and towards the conclusion of the season the Harriers kept seven clean sheets in nine matches with Kyle in the side.

You could say that his time with us, in defence, helped us to win promotion to the National League and in fact won promotion with two clubs after he featured nine times for AFC Fylde as they also won promotion by winning the National North title.

It was hoped that following his release from Fylde that he would sign for us but, somewhat strangely he opted to sign a two year contract with, now fellow, NL side Solihull Moors.

In February 2025 Kyle returned to the Harriers on a permanent basis.
