The Harriers signed the Liverpool youngster, Jack Bearne, on loan soon after the start of the 2022-23 season. He had played against us in pre-season in a friendly game.

A team mate of the former Harriers loanee, Rhys Williams, he also comes to us on a season long loan hoping to emulate Rhys in breaking through into the Liverpool first team.

Jack made his senior debut for Liverpool when he came off the bench at Aston Villa in the League Cup in December 2019. He began to play regularly with the U23’s last season and scored eleven goals and provided numerous assists.

At first Jack was a regular starter for us but towards the end of the season he only appeared from the bench late on in a game. He was well liked by the Harriers fans though and would be welcome back any time.

Soon after his return to Anfield Jack was released by Liverpool and later went North of the border to join Greenock Morton on a two year deal.
