Yan Klukowski signed on loan for the Harriers from Torquay Utd on the eve of a league game against one of his former clubs York City. The widely travelled midfielder had started his career in this country at two of his local clubs, Bath City and Chippenham Town, before leaving to join a sports college in America. It was while with them he played for some American teams. On his return to Britain he played again for Chippenham and Larkhall Athletic before being snapped up by Forest Green Rovers. After three successful seasons at the New Lawn he signed for Newport County, newly promoted to the Football League and then moved on to York and Torquay. Yan came to the Harriers for an initial one month loan but after spending most of it injured his loan wasn’t extended. He left Torquay at the end of the season following their relegation to the National South league. |
