The Huddersfield U21 defender William Boyle joined the Harriers in March 2015 on a youth loan until the end of the season. William joined Huddersfield in 2010 as a trainee from one of the Garforth Town junior teams, after having already had trials with Sheffield Wednesday and Bradford City, and was given a pro contract in July 2014. He has made one appearance for Huddersfield in their 3-0 win against Reading in February. He is eligible to play for Scotland through his Scottish born father. Following his loan with us he went on loan to Macclesfield and York City before finally joining Cheltenham Town in January 2017. In June 2022 he returned to the club he started his career with, Huddersfield Town. |
