Tom Owen-Evans

The Harriers turned up a surprise when they signed Tom Owen-Evans from our biggest rivals, Hereford FC, much to the dismay of their fans.

He was a favourite at Edgar St but a part time contract there was no way to progress his career so he signed for us, a bigger club, in May 2022.

His career started with his hometown club Bristol City but he was released before signing pro forms to join Newport County where he initially played for their youth side before making his way into the first team. By the time he left them he had racked up over sixty games. He also spent time out on loan.

In July 2017 he left Newport to sign for Scottish side Falkirk but his time there was short and just three months later he had travelled back South to join Hereford.

His time with us was just for the one season after everyone had high hopes for him. Sadly injuries at the start of his time with us didn’t help and he never did look the same for us as he had done at Hereford. 

He joined Chippenham Town soon after his time with us ended.
