Tom Bennett joined the Harriers from Boston Utd in mid November 2004 just in time for a FA Cup game at Port Vale. He initially signed a contract until the end of the season with a view to staying with us for the following season but after a good start he eventually started to get lazy and his heart was not in the battle to preserve our League status and he was released at the end of the season. He then joined Hamilton Academicals back in his native Scotland but after three games broke his leg. While recovering he formed a band called Fracture (named in honour of his broken leg) with former Stockport County team mates but it didn’t last because he couldn’t be bothered to learn his chords. |
