Steve McMahon

Steve McMahon was the son of a more famous father, with the same name. Steve senior was an England international who played alongside Jan Molby at Liverpool.

When he became the manager at Blackpool he introduced his son to the side but once Senior found himself out of a job there his son was quietly dropped after having made twenty six appearances, mainly from the bench.

He came to Aggborough on loan for a month to help out with an early season injury crisis and also to resurrect his career. After not impressing much, and collecting three bookings, he returned to Blackpool on 29th October.

On his release from Blackpool he joined his father at Perth Glory in Australia but following claims of nepotism both were dismissed.
