Steve Burton was Jan Molby’s first signing in his second stint at Aggborough. He was originally signed by Jan when he was manager at Hull City but failed to break into the first team at the KC Stadium even though he made a handful of appearances. He came here on a months loan as cover for the injured Scott Stamps that was then extended by a further month. Once Scott had regained fitness Steve returned to Hull but then came back here on transfer deadline day 2004 for a further spell and eventually signed a two year contract with the club on May 26th 2004. In the Autumn of 2005, after failing to find a regular place in the team under the next manager Stuart Watkiss, he left the club to play football in Australia. | |||
