The former Aston Villa and QPR forward Stefan Moore signed for the Harriers in response to the injury to our first choice striker Justin Richards. Luckily for us he was already at Aggborough on trial. He started at the Villa as a trainee in August 2000 but failed to make a real impression there and was eventually released in 2005. After a period at QPR he eventually joined Walsall until he then left there at the end of the 2007-08 season. He came to us a few weeks before eventually signing and played in a trial game at Bewdley where he scored twice in the 5-2 victory. He will forever be remembered by Harriers fans for the superb goal he scored at Forest Green in April 2009 to draw us level with just seconds to go after we had recovered from being 2-0 down and having two players sent off. |
