Scott Burgess came to the Harriers on loan from York City at the end of September 2022 on the eve of a FA Cup tie at Cheshunt FC. Scott began his career with Bury but spent a lot of his five years there out on loan to other clubs including Macclesfield Town, Wrexham AFC and a first spell with York. He left Bury for Port Vale in May 2015. He spent over two seasons with Vale before signing for Grimsby Town but only lasted a few months with them before returning to York on a permanent basis. On his return to City following his loan with us he made more appearances for them but was released at the end of the 2023-24 season. |
