Scott Bevan joined the Harriers at the end of June 2006 after playing for a host of clubs, mainly on loan from his parent club Southampton.

He finally left them in March 2004 for MK Dons and it was while he was back out on loan from them to Tamworth that he received what could have been a life threatening injury. While playing for them at Forest Green he got kicked in the groin and rushed to hospital where his kidney was found to have been damaged beyond repair and was subsequently removed.

He became a favourite of the Harriers fans during his time here and, after performing goal keeping miracles on many occasions he eventually joined Shrewsbury Town in a double deal alongside James Constable. As usual for the Harriers no mention was made of a fee.
