Ryan Clarke joined us on loan due to an injury crisis from Bristol Rovers on the morning of our FA Cup game at Port Vale. He joined Rovers as a schoolboy and was picked for the England U18 squad in January 2001. He has since played in Rovers reserves and went out on loan to Southend Utd before coming to the Harriers for a two month loan spell. He was re-called by Bristol Rovers during Christmas week when the first choice keeper there got injured. Ryan was released by Bristol in May 2006 and joined Salisbury City. Three years later he returned to league football with Oxford Utd and since then has played for a variety of clubs including Eastleigh and Torquay Utd and last played for Bath City for five seasons before retirement. |
