Ryan Austin joined the Steve Burr revolution at Aggborough on July 4th 2012 after being released by Burton Albion at the end of the previous season. Having spent a total of seven seasons with the Brewers he racked up well over 270 games for them and that is even taking into account that he missed much of the 2009-10 season due to a long term injury. He started his footballing career at Crewe Alexandra but hardly played for them seeing as he was sent out on loan to Burton almost from the start. He started the season for us but having been paired with the hopeless Exodus Geohaghon he never stood a chance and was loaned out to Brackley Town. He joined them permanently in January 2013 after playing just five games for us. |
