Robert (Rob) Davies was an under 21 Welsh international who joined the Harriers on an initial month long loan from West Bromwich Albion. He signed for the Baggies from Wrexham AFC in 2003 after a fee was set by a tribunal at £50,000 rising to £250,000 depending on appearances. He made just the one appearance for the Baggies and that came in a FA Cup tie at Reading that the home side won 3-2. He has played twice for his country at U21 level. The first coming against Northern Ireland in February 2006 and then against Cyprus in May 2006. During his two years playing in the Albions reserve side he scored a total of eight goals but was released by them in May 2007 to join Spanish side Barakaldo. |
