The French Cameroonian, Parfait Medou-Otye signed for the Harriers on a free transfer in November 2000 after spending a short time at Scottish First Division side Greenock Morton. Born November 29th 1976, he first played for French First Division side Le Havre with a short loan spell at Le Mans UC before deciding to move to Britain. He signed for Morton in and played ten games there before signing for us. A powerfully built player, Parfait could play in either the defence or midfield. In January 2003 it was revealed that he was suffering from a heart condition and had to retire from the game but that then proved false and he played for Stourport Swifts and Bromsgrove Rovers before returning home. |
