The former Cheltenham Town midfielder/wideman Martin Devaney joined the Harriers in February 2013 after enjoying a successful career at Championship side Barnsley and then lower down the Leagues at Milton Keynes Dons and Tranmere Rovers. He spent six years at Cheltenham and won many plaudits for his fast attacking style of play and also his superb free kicks. He competed in over 225 games for the Robins before moving on to Barnsley where he made over 170 appearances for them. Now thirty two years old he is still at the right age to make a good impression on the Harriers fans and also to impart words of wisdom to the likes of Marvin Johnson. |
