Mark Creighton originally played for the Harriers youth team in 1999 but wasn’t given a professional contract. He re-signed for the Harriers on June 22nd 2006 after a spell at local side Redditch Utd where he was team captain.

The 6ft 4in defender played in the centre half position and became a rock for the club. After just his first season he won the Player of the Season awards for both the club and for Harriers Online. In his second year with us he became the team captain and one of the most feared centre-halves in non-league football earning plaudits from many opposing fans.

This was to backfire on us at the end of the 2008-09 season when he joined Oxford Utd for a small transfer fee. Following his time at Oxford he then joined Wrexham after a short loan spell but his time there was racked with injuries to his knee.

He finally hung his boots up in 2013, because of that reason, at the age of 32 and soon after returned to the Harriers in a coaching capacity.
