Luke Simpson was sponsored by Harriers Online from 2020 to 2022 Luke Simpson signed for the Harriers on the eve of an FA Cup game at Alvechurch in October 2020. The 26yr old goalkeeper started his career with Oldham Athletic but never made an appearance for them. Following loans to other clubs, including a youth loan to Leicester City, he left to join Accrington Stanley making nine appearances for them. His next move was to Watford but then he started to drop down the ladder with spells at Macclesfield Town and Wrexham AFC before ending last season with Barrow AFC. Luke joined the Harriers following a trial game at Stockport County and became our number one keeper in October 2020. Luke left us due to the travelling from his Manchester home in May 2022. | |||
