Jon Brady was the third player to arrive at the club before the loan deadline of March 2007. The Australian born midfielder started his career at Hayes but then moved on to other clubs in non league including Hereford Utd, Chester City and Stevenage. He joined us on loan until the end of the season from strugglers Cambridge Utd but on his return to The Abbey he was released and joined newly promoted Kettering and then on to Brackley Town where he spent the next seven years as, first, player then the manager. He joined Northampton Town as a coach in 2016 but in February 2021 he became the new manager following the dismissal of Keith Curle. |
