Joe McGlynn arrived at Aggborough in January 2023 on a youth loan from Burnley for the remainder of the season. The young U21 striker will be hoping he get’s the chance with us to increase his goal tally which, at the moment, is just two during a loan spell with Hyde Utd. Born in Warrington, of Scottish parentage, Joe has been with Burnley since the age of twelve and signed pro forms with them in 2019. In addition to Hyde he has also spent time on loan with Oldham Athletic. He was part of the side that made it to the quarter-final of the FA Youth Cup in 2019-20, before being beaten by Manchester City U18’s. Although Joe came on loan until the end of the season he got injured at Spennymoor Town in February and returned to Burnley. |
