Jamie McClen became the third player to join us in two days when he arrived here at Aggborough on June 27th 2006. The former Newcastle Utd midfielder failed to break through into the Magpies first team after eight years at St James Park playing only twenty two times and eventually joined up with us via Carlisle Utd and Shrewsbury Town. He went out on loan to Bedlington Terriers in November and was released on the completion of his time there at the start of January 2007. He then signed for Hamilton Academical of the Scottish League Division 1 and later on for Gateshead in the Conference. |
