Locally born Harry Higginson was a graduate of the Harriers Under 23 team and was formerly on the books of Walsall and West Bromwich Albion. He actually played for the Harriers under 12’s when he was ten years old. He made his debut for us at AFC Telford Utd in January 2019. Playing the full ninety minutes the left sided defender impressed all who saw him put in a solid performance. He twice went out on loan to Bromsgrove Sporting in the Winter of 2019-20 before joining them on loan until the end of the season in late February 2020 but that was cut short to just one game when the COVID-19 virus ended the season prematurely. Surprisingly Harry was released by the club in April 2020 even after showing us what potential he had in the few games he played in. He signed up with Sporting on a permanent basis a few weeks later. |
