Graham Ward was the Republic of Ireland U-20’s captain in 2002 but still couldn’t get a place in the Wolverhampton Wanderers first team. With no chance of a place once they reached the Premiership the Wolves manager, Dave Jones, decided to release him. He signed up with the Harriers just prior to the start of the 2003-04 season on a one year contract but never really made the grade and was released at the end of the season and joined, first Cheltenham Town, Burton Albion and then Tamworth. Graham later joined Worcester City and finished his career with Nuneaton Borough. |
