Geraldo Bajrami was born of Albanian parents in Quinton, Birmingham. Because of his parentage he is eligible to play for their country. He signed for the Birmingham City academy in July 2016 and signed his first professional contract in 2018 and then for a further two years in 2019. In February 2020 he was sent out on loan to Solihull Moors but only played four games due to the curtailment of the season in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Geraldo was released by the Blues in May 2021 and came to us on pre-season trials. He also spent a short time trialling with Barnet but chose to join us on non-contract terms in August 2021. After just the one season with us it was obvious that he was playing below his level and at the end of the season ‘Baj’ signed for Notts County for which we received an un-disclosed compensation package. |
