Ed Williams arrived at Aggborough following a long drawn out transfer from Gloucester City that took the best part of six months. He was first expected to join us in the spring of 2018 but that never happened. Finally in June he signed on the dotted. Ed started his career with Cheltenham Town before going out on loan to Gloucester and then Cirencester before leaving the Robins for good in 2015 to return to Gloucester permanently. During his three seasons with City he scored fourteen times including one against the Harriers in April 2017. Ed departed the Harriers for Doncaster Rovers after two years service and went to America to play for Rochester New York. On his return to the UK he joined Swindon Supermarine for a short while before joining Chippenham Town in October 2023. |
