Young forward Dominic Knowles joined the Harriers on a loan deal until the end of the 2014-15 season from his parent club Burton Albion. He started his career with Burnley but never made an appearance for them before leaving to further his career elsewhere. After trials at Stevenage and York City he eventually joined Gainsborough Trinity where he impressed with eight goals in ten games before joining Harrogate Town after a few months. It was while banging in ten goals at Harrogate that he caught the eye of the then Burton manager, Gary Rowett, and signed for them. He hasn’t quite clicked while there and now comes out on loan to us in an effort to get him back amongst the goals. Following eight games and no goals for the Harriers he was re-called by Burton in mid March to be released at the end of the season to join Harrogate Town. |
