Declan Weeks joined the Harriers following a short trial period before the start of the 2017-18 season. Born in Wrexham the youngster started his footballing career with Wolves but on his release from there joined Southport a few months later. He couldn’t save them from relegation though and was released from there at the end of last season. He was somewhat surprisingly released by the club in April 2020 after impressing in his time with us. He did pick up a bad injury in December 2019 that kept him out for a few months and when he did return the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Declan joined up with Chester FC just days before the start of the much delayed season in September 2020. |
