The former Coventry City apprentice, Billy Daniels, joined the Harriers in July 2018 on the eve of a friendly game against Aston Villa. After signing his first professional conract with City he went on to make thirty three appearances for the Sky Blues before leaving for Notts County in January 2005. He only lasted six months with them though. In September 2015 he returned to the Coventry area to sign for Nuneaton Town where he appeared sixty two times for them but scoring only twice. Billy left the club after just one season and twenty seven appearances and returned to Nuneaton but only stayed there for a couple of weeks before leaving to join Hednesford Town.
