Ben Whitfield arrived at the Harriers on a youth loan from his parent club Bournemouth in October 2015. The Yorkshire born midfielder started his career with nearby Guiseley before being snapped up by Bournemouth. During his spell with us his loan deal was renewed a couple of times meaning that he spent almost all of the season with us. By the end of the season, when we got relegated, he had been the only real bright spot and won the Player of the Season award. The following season he joined up with Yeovil Town on a season long loan before joining Port Vale on his release from Bournemouth. In September 2019 he returned South to play for Torquay Utd. |
