The Scottish midfielder, Barry Maguire, came to the Harriers on loan towards the beginning of the 2023-24 season following the long term injury to Shane Byrne. Now aged twenty five he’s been with Motherwell since his mid teens and made the breakthrough into the first team when he was twenty years old and has now made seventy eight appearances for them. He’s spent time out on loan at both Queen of the South and Dundee FC helping the latter to the Scottish Championship title last season. Maguire was here at Aggborough on loan until January 2024. | |||
