Adie Smith joined the club from local rivals Bromsgrove Rovers in 1997 for a fee of £19,000. A good, solid defender, he became a big favourite at the club and served us well for seven seasons. His first club was Birmingham City but he never managed to make an appearance at St Andrews before leaving for Willenhall Town in 1995 from where he moved to Bromsgrove in August 1995. After giving brilliant service to the Harriers Adie decided to turn semi-professional and joined Tamworth in February 2004 staying there for a further four seasons. With his career drawing to a close he moved on to Chasetown for a short while before finally hanging his boots up at Rushall Olympic. |
