Adam Watkins joined the Harriers on a month long loan from fellow Blue Square side Luton Town towards the end of September 2012. The England C squad member is well known to Steve Burr due to the managers links with the team. He joined Luton as a lad and has come up through the ranks at Kenilworth Road and up until last season was a regular first team member. Since the arrival of Paul Buckle as the Town manager Adam has fallen out of favour and is hoping that his loan at Aggborough will be the spark he needs to fight his way back into the Luton eleven. It wasn’t and he eventually left Luton in May 2013 to join Dunstable Town. |
