Match preview Vs Chorley FCVenue: Victory ParkDate: 24-10-20Kick off: 15:00hrs |
Hopefully the Harriers will be playing only their third game of the season tomorrow when they travel to Chorley FC. Saying hopefully because with Lancashire at COVID Tier 2 and two major cities, Liverpool and Manchester, at Tier 3 there is a very high risk of someone within the Chorley camp going into quarantine meaning that the game could possibly be called off.
That happened to us against Alfreton Town last Saturday when that game was called off early in the week after some of the Alfreton team had contact with someone infected.
If all is ok then we should almost be at full strength for the game with just Jim Kellermann waiting for the all clear following his injury. We will be without Amari Morgan-Smith though as he starts his two game ban for a red card against Chester.
In our two games played we lost at home to Chester FC in our first match then won, against the odds, at Darlington two weekends ago. Chorley have yet to pick up a point in the league but have been doing well in the FA Cup. Defeats against York City, Gloucester City and Southport haven’t really compensated for the Cup wins against Gateshead and York so they’ll be hoping to win our game.
They’ll have Ollie Shenton in their side following the signing of him shortly after his loan spell with the Harriers ended. Although he has played in all games for his new club he is still yet to score. It’s not known what the status of the injuries are at Chorley.
There will be a live stream for the game and that can be found here for ten of your £’s: https://insight4.azurewebsites.net/stream/anRwQ0hm
