We got a goal back through substitute Ethan Freemantle late in the game but couldn’t quite manage an equaliser although we did come close when Ashley Hemmings saw a strike superbly saved by the Curzon keeper, Chris Renshaw. Date: 16-08-22 Match preview Vs Curzon Ashton Venue: Aggborough Kick off: 19:45hrs Preview: Phil Lench The Harriers will be hoping to build on Saturdays game at home to Leamington FC tomorrow evening when Curzon Ashton pay us a visit. The Leamington game saw the Reds lay siege to Callum Hawkins goal but the young keeper, on loan from Burton Albion, was on top of his game and everything that we threw at him he saved. I swear I saw Tom Owen-Evans come out after half time with a kitchen sink. The single goal win came thanks to an Ashley Hemmings early second half tap in but the game was probably more memorable for some fans due to the bricking of the supporters coach by a fine specimen of Geordie manhood.
