Regan Griffiths …
New signing hoping for a start tomorrow

There should be a very different look to the side that turns out at Solihull Moors tomorrow evening from the one that made an exit from the FA Trophy at Peterborough Sports on Saturday.

At Sports the only regular first teamers to start were Alex Penny, Zak Brown and Caleb Richards. The likes of Sam Bellis and Gold Omotayo have been injured or on the bench along with Kai Lissimore, Krystian Pearce and Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain in recent weeks. We should see the full first team at Damson Park along with our new signing Regan Griffiths who signed for us earlier today.

Solihull are going well in the league again this season and sit in fifth place at this time. They seem to have an endless pot of money and bring in new players on a regular basis with the last two being the former Harrier Tahvon Campbell and Tyrese Shade coming in during the last two weeks. It’s a shame they can’t spend some of the player pot on better facilities for the fans, both home and away fans.

We’ve been told that seating for away fans is not covered and if it rains you get wet while as for car and coach parking then there’s very little available at the ground and you’re expected to park a mile away at the airport.

We could be without Zak Brown after he went off with a slight injury at Peterborough while Matt Preston – formerly of Solihull – will be out for a while with a hamstring injury along with Sam Robinson. It also looks like Reiss McNally may have an injury too because he wasn’t even on the bench on Saturday.

Although Phil Brown had a bit of a blip in his time here so far at Sports I think we have enough, in our first team, to come back from our only local derby with at least a point tomorrow evening.
